determinant of a 4×4 or 5×5 matrix

Hello.I know how to find the determinant of a 2×2 or 3×3 matrix, butI don't know how to find the determinant of 4×4 or 5x5matrix.Could someone please show me how, possibly with a realexample?Thank you
