A rock is thrown upwards with a velocity of 27 meters per second from the top of a 43 meter high cliff, and it misses the cliff on the way back down. When will the rock be 3 meters from the rock below? I'm pretty sure the equation is -4.9t^2 + 27t + 43 = 3 …and then u like use the quadratic formula…but i just cant to seem to find out the answer how many times I try. Plz help!
