A Problem from Statics

The table lamp consists of two uniform arms, each weighing 0.8lb and a 2 lb bulb fixture. If θ = 16 degrees, calculatethe (moment of the) couple Cathat must be supplied bythe friction in joint A.The slanted arm is at 16 degreesmeasured from the vertical. I took the moments about P of allforcesin the free body diagram and equated them to zerobecause according to a principle, the sum of the moments in anequilibrium equal zero. I was wrong. My answer was far fromthe textbook answer which is 38.4 lb-in. Please show me how toanswer this problem correctly. The free diagram is given below…(Thefree diagram was also given in the text. Should I consideronly the forces given by the text in the free diagram?)
